Charge (Japanese: じゅうでん Charge) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.

Effect

Generation III

If the user's next move is Template:Type2, it will deal twice the usual amount of damage. This only applies to damage dealing moves of the Electric-type.

Generation IV

The effects of Charge are the same as the previous generation; however, Charge also raises the user's Special Defense by one stat level.
