Here I'm listing some Trainers who I came up by myself.
Maxy
Maxy is a Trainer from Lavender Town. He's specialized in collecting Pokémon. However, he has also once entered Ever Grande Conference and won it. Currently he's traveling at Sinnoh.
Maxy is specialized in capturing Pokémon with "rare moves", meaning moves that the Pokémon cannot usually learn or moves that notably differ from the Pokémon's type. For example, his Magmar knows Psychic and ThunderPunch, his Hitmonlee knows Blaze Kick, his Rhydon knows Surf and Whirlpool and his Ninetales knows Hypnosis and Confuse Ray. This interest of his begun as he found out that his starter Pokémon Wartortle had learned Confusion.

- After capturing these legendary birds Maxy decided let them roam around Sinnoh so they wouldn't attract too much attention to him. He can, however, join them back to his team whenever he likes by calling them.

Alex
Alex is Maxy's rival from Saffron City. He once entered Silver Conference, but lost and was ranked to Top 32. About a year later, Alex and Maxy met for the first time. Alex challenged Maxy to a battle, but lost after a dramatic clash of both Trainer's Tyranitar. After this, they promised each other to battle again at Hoenn League.
Alex and Maxy faced each other again at Ever Grande Conference, and finally Alex lost. Even thought this caused him to be eliminated from the tournament, he was ranked to Top 8. Like Maxy, Alex is currently traveling at Sinnoh.
Alex is known to be a former member of "Dark Lightning" organization, but he left it in order to travel and train on his own. He even released the Weavile and Magneton he had obtained while serving for the organization.

Lucas the Dark
Lucas the Dark is a mysterious Trainer who has defeated Alex thrice; once during Silver Conference and twice in unoffical battles, from which the latter two he won with his mysterious Pokémon. After the third loss, Alex sweared to defeat him after he would have competed in the Sinnoh League.
Lucas is a member of "Dark Lightning" organization. Even thought there's not much know about the organization, Lucas is known to have a notably high position in it.

Ener the Ruler of Dark and Lightning
Ener is the leader of a mysterious organization called "Dark Lightning", and he refers himself with the title The Ruler of Dark and Lightning. Not much else is yet known about him, except that he's specialized in collecting and training Electric and Template:Type2 Pokémon, which he has worth for an army. Always when a member of "Dark Lightning" gets a promotion for enough high position, Ener gives this member a strong Pokémon to use.
Even thought Ener's past is mostly unknown, he refers his secret plan to be "getting back his legendary army", mentioning that he once controlled several legendary Pokémon, but, for unknown reason, lost control of them, causing them to escape.

- With a yet unknown method, Ener used to control these legendary Pokémon. However, as this power or device was taken away from him, these Pokémon escaped from his control.
Fred the Starter Collector
Fred the Starter Collector is a calm and peaceful Trainer from New Bark Town. At the beginning of his journey, he decided to catch and collect every existing starter Pokémon. After fulfilling his goal, he started to travel through Kanto and challenge the eight Gym Leaders.
Fred is a very powerful Trainer, as he has been able to capture and tame the legendary beasts. He caught them to "thank" them for saving his grandfathers from dangers, saying that now it was his turn to protect them. However, he soon realized that he couldn't keep them in his team without attracting too much attention, and gave them away.

- Fred caught and gave these Pokémon for a girl for playmates, as her Turtwig had evolved into a Grotle, which was too big to her house. In exchange, Fred got the Grotle.

Lila
Lila is a Trainer from Celadon City. Not much is known about her, except that she has competed and won the Orange League by defeating Drake, proving herself to be a very strong Trainer. She's currently travelling through Johto. She usually moves around by flying on the back of her Charizard "Charles".

Etymology
- I came up with Maxy's name while thinking about Maxie.
- Alex's name I picked from Alex Davis.
- Lucas's name I took from the Star Wars movies (even though I don't watch them).
- Ener's name is the Finnish version of Eneru's name in One Piece.
- I was thinking about Fred Weasley from Harry Potter when I came up with Fred's name.
- Lila's name I modified from Lyra.
