Automatic welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, PartHunter!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

ORAS held items

If you want to add ORAS items, FYI, they're likely all here. Tiddlywinks (talk) 11:36, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Inviting Comment - Pokémon HP Bars in Shuffle

Inviting your thoughts at this discussion. So far no one's chimed in, trying to determine if this is something worth pursuing doing. CycloneGU (talk) 16:09, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

List Search

It happened somewhere. Unless I forgot how to bring them up. CycloneGU (talk) 15:49, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

I used that capacity in every version of Pokémon shuffle, so it was never removed. Tap on the "Caught Pokémon" text in the filter/search page to chnage it to "All Pokémon" to make them appear. Type, Skill and Mega Stone filtered searches never bring up any silluettes. PartHunter (talk) 12:43, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
Oh, they appear in the Pokémon list. It's when sorting or filtering them. They used to appear that way. Do they still? CycloneGU (talk) 17:13, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes. This can also be done while selecting the Pokémon to use in battle, which is where I do this most of the time (I find it more convenient). PartHunter (talk) 03:35, 20 April 2015 (UTC) P.S. I only noticed the thing at the top of your talk page after replying there. Try making the text colourful using span tags.

Special skills addendum

I realized I forgot something that could also be relevant in my edit summary. I don't know if you are aware, but for the most part, skill results (and decorations received) do not change. There are circumstances under which some can change, but they are very difficult to pin down. (Because these results are at such a complicated junction of fixed and variable, I couldn't figure out a good way to say anything about it on Secret Base.) If you only tested it on one day (or even on two) and you concluded it was always the same because you tried soft-resetting, then you easily could have just run afoul of "bad" luck that both Pals gave the same O-Power that day.

At any rate, I've definitely received different O-Powers from Secret Pals on the same day. I've probably always been actively switching Secret Pals in and out of my base for those results, though; I'm not at the moment sure if I've ever started a day with multiple fortune tellers as Secret Pals and gotten different results from them. Giratina Rate Data

I'm going to take a stab right now that it just keeps going up by 1% every level. I hope I DON'T catch it until the final level, but hey, maybe I'm setting myself up for failure. Surely the rate data dump will be available soon. CycloneGU (talk) 06:32, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Pokémon Shuffle (and Special Stages)

Just to update you as a regular editor at Pokémon Shuffle, the EB has approved the stage split into unique pages, but with Special Stages all as one page. You will see that main stages and expert stages are now linked via a table to new pages, which themselves will be expanded over time. Please use the new pages (in particular for new main stages to the newest area, or new Expert stages, as the rest just need expansion) for future updates. Prior to Special Stages being moved into mainspace use, which will likely be tomorrow, you'll find it at Abcboy's userspace under the title "User:Abcboy/Special Stages". Thanks!
