Trivia

Origin

Vine Whip is a move in the Pokémon games that Ivysaur can learn. The Japanese name of Vine Whip uses the hiragana (むち) rather than the katakana (ムチ) used in the video games. Poison Powder, formatted on this card's Base Set print as Poisonpowder, is a move in the Pokémon games that Ivysaur can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
