Gooey (Japanese: ぬめぬめ Gooey) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature Ability of Goomy's evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a move that makes contact, the Speed of the attacking Pokémon is decreased by one stage.

If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multi-strike move that makes contact (such as Fury Swipes), each hit activates this Ability.

Outside of battle

Gooey has no effect outside of battle.
