In Japan, this card was released to commemorate the moving of the Yokohama Pokémon Center on October 10, 2008.

Trivia

As the name of the card indicates, the illustration features a Pikachu wearing a naval captain's hat manning a ship with several other Pokémon as the ship's crew. Many of the Pokémon featured in the illustration belong to main characters in Pokémon the Series.
This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
The card features the Yokohama Pokémon Center logo.
The card features a plain foil silver border.
