The Team Galactic HQ (Japanese: ギンガだんアジト Team Galactic Hideout) is a large multi-level building in Veilstone City, Sinnoh.
It, along with the Galactic Eterna Building, is one of the main centers for Team Galactic's operations. It housed the legendary Pokémon Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit for a brief time.
In Pokémon Platinum, the Veilstone HQ underwent a huge makeover.
In the games
In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the Team Galactic HQ serves an important purpose in the plot in which it is the first place the player learns about the Red Chain, and Cyrus's plan to create a new universe.
At first, the player cannot enter the Team Galactic HQ without a Storage Key, which can only be found in the Galactic Warehouse and must be obtained there first. Once inside, the player must make their way to the top, where they meet and battle Cyrus. When defeated, the player releases Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit, but Team Galactic still obtain the Red Chain. After the end of the game, while Cyrus is missing, Saturn is left in charge of the building and the remnants of the membership. No longer the headquarters, the Team Galactic HQ's name is changed to the Galactic Veilstone Building.
The Team Galactic HQ itself is an unusual place. Or though, there are large machines and devices, there is also a Team Galactic TV Room and Kitchen, with a state-of-the-art audio and video system, and a refrigerator, promoting free drinks, filled with murky, sinister drinks and nothing else. There is a Team Galactic Nap Room, filled with beds to heal Pokémon. The members of the Team Galactic HQ also get around by using portals that lead to different rooms across the building. Yellow portals are two way portals that transfer people across the building, green portal are one way, returning people to the ground floor.
It is also the place where the player gets a Master Ball, the only one available in the game without trading, importing, cloning, cheating, or winning the Jubilife TV Lottery.

If the player reads Cyrus's computer, they will discover a report on the legendary Pokémon of Sinnoh. The Computer reads:

Some say the universe originated from a massive explosion. Similarly, Sinnoh is thought to have been formed by an explosion in ancient times. Needless to say, the explosion came from the power of a Pokémon. The Pokémon must have been the mythical creature considered a deity by the ancients. Our aim is not to capture the mythical Pokémon, but to obtain its power.

According to myths, the Pokémon created Sinnoh with its power. However, capturing the Pokémon with a Poké Ball prevents it from using its full power; But with the Red Chain, the Pokémon can be shackled, and its power can be used without restraint

The Pokémon of the three lakes and Mt. Coronet are somehow connected. Capturing the Pokémon of the lakes will free the Pokémon of Mt. Coronet. From the Pokémon of the lakes, crystals can be extracted to create a Red Chain. Using that Red Chain, the mythical Pokémon can be summoned and shackled to do as we command

- There is a Team Galactic credo posted on the wall that changes between versions. On Diamond version, it says:

- While on Pearl version, the credo says:
