I thought Character Pages weren't supposed to be created until the episode aired? Which was why I couldnt make the Kazunari Page. - unsigned comment from BAC510 (talkcontribs)

Normally, yes, you're not supposed to make character pages before their episode airs, however Kenji-Girl got special permission to start this page early. ZestyCactus 05:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
This is a special exception. People kept linking Kotone (game) because the saw that Kotone (anime) was a red link. This way, we don't have to worry about people messing with the links. --ケンジガール 05:59, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh I see now. User:BAC510 15:05, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Should this be protected until the 6th?

DP143 airs on the 6th, is there any reason we should protect this, or her game counterpart?--Midnight Blue 01:31, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Maybe the game counterpart until the release. People don't speculate much on this person's name, but they would probably after the episode airs. tc²₆tc26 03:31, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Come on, no need to protect this article. If it need to be protected then please give a strong reason. People won't speculate much on it, she appeared long time ago in the original version and the dub version don't show previews either. So, no need to protect it. That's what I think. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 06:44, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Unprotect the page now for God sake. - unsigned comment from Adyniz (talkcontribs)

Lyra

Should we do it now? Should we do it for the games also? --Maxim 22:03, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Not until it airs. -Sketch 22:23, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
I think this should be good enough to move it, its the summary given by pokemon.com

http://www.pokemon.com/us/tv-episodes/season-12/episode-38-an-egg-scramble/ --DSDark 05:15, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

But their summaries have been wrong before.--Midnight Blue 05:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. It seems likely. But Bulbapedia policy is wait til it airs, and there's a reason for that. Let's not jump the gun, guys. —darklordtrom 05:53, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Aren't game characters an exception from the rule? --Maxim 09:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Just wait another 4 days, okay? Once it airs, the name will truely be comfirmed. Ruixiang95 09:49, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, I for one can wait 2 1/2 days, but since it's been confirmed on the site, it should be real. Lyra for the games we definetly shouldn't do until it's confirmed on the site, same with Gold and Ethan. But I think that the site is accurate.--Trickyb 03:14, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't see why everyone is in such a hurry. These policies get implemented for a reason you know. I for one wouldn't want the articles being messed with and then later have to go back and fix them again. So just be patient. It saves everyone time and effort in the long run. Jello 03:18, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
You do make a point. I mean when it says "the Festival spokesperson, Lyra", it could be talking about ANYONE. For all we know, it could be Kazunari..... I can wait, so I'm not the "hurrier". --Trickyb 00:08, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

when will the article be unprotected? I wanna be the first to add her english name to the article. I never get to....--Darknesslover5000 06:42, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry to disappoint you but I think you or any one else (except admins) won't get a chance to do that because admins will probably move this page to Lyra before un-protecting it. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 06:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
awww...I never get to do big stuff....--Darknesslover5000 06:47, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Don't worry buddy, you will get more cool opportunities in the future. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 06:52, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Let's hope so.--Darknesslover5000 06:53, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

VA

Lyra is played by Eileen Stevens. - unsigned comment from Kirbopher (talkcontribs)

removed template

Could an admin remove the undubbed template? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 12:48, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Or just un protect the article and we will do that. Please admins, it is a kind request to you people. Episode has been aired already. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 12:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Why do you want it unprotected so badly? You're campaigning on many talk pages just to get it unprotected. You were wrong about the case on Ash's Monferno (it still shows Kotone) and the template has already been removed. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 13:00, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Firstly, I asked them to un-protect the article only on two talk pages. Secondly, I apologize for my mistake. I thought something else.--♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 13:04, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
I guess many is kind of a stretch. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 13:06, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Lol. I was campaigning to unprotect the article because I wanted to rename the names in this article. There is kotone and Kazunari everywhere (in this article) instead of Lyra and Khouri. I guess, I was being a little stubborn. I am sorry for that. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 13:10, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Another thing, can the English name at the bottom be shown instead of hidden? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 19:53, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

lyra

hm add a redirect from lyra to this page, and at this page a notic is someone search for Lyra Forest --Hanmac

Wait until Kotone disambig will be moved to "Lyra". The Lyra Forest will certainly be added to it. --Maxim 22:41, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Edit request

Can someone change "Johto Festa" to "Johto Festival". It appears several times.--Midnight Blue 20:55, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Could someone also change the [[[Johto Festival]] in Marill's section to [[Johto Festival]]?. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:37, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Also Add This Piece Of Trivia: "Lyra often pronounces Dawn's name wrong by usually saying "Dane". --Manaphy1 21:41, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Speech impediment?

Does Lyra Have a habit of mispronouncing names, or is it just for Dawn/ Hikari? --Proctor 05:19, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Lyra's Marill

Should it have its own article? It does fit all the notability requirements-it's her main Pokemon (or at least the page says it is) it appeared in more than one episode, it did more than just battling (causing Ash&Co to meet Khoury and Lyra and helping Khoury catch Gible) and it even appeared in the games. Flyingtypefan 04:48, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. I think enough can be written about it for both anime and games sections. たかはり 05:05, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Lyra's Chikorita

Should Lyra's Chikorita have an article? Lyra can have a Chikorita in the games. In the show it's also Lyra's starter, and has battled a couple times. サトシ 23:47, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

OK, since I'm not getting anywhere here, I'll ask Kenji-girl about it. サトシ 23:35, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Lyra's Girafarig

Why shouldn't Lyra's Girafarig be conuted as male? The Pokémon has gender differences, the males have two yellow spots, which Girafarig has. So, what's the deal? Iml908 (talk) 00:39, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

While you're on the right track, this doesn't count as all Girafarig have the two yellow spots before gender differences were introduced. PattyMan 00:58, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
Um, Lyra's Girafarig debuted long AFTER gender differences were already introduced (she's in a later DP episode, and remember May's Venusaur?). GamerGeek 16:24, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
I do remember May's Venusaur. However, Venusaur is out of the norm since her appearance with the seed on the bulb did not appear before Generation IV. Lyra's Girafarig is the same as the other Girafarig that appeared before said generation. The Wobbuffet without the lipstick and the Heracross with the normal-shaped horns fall into the same category as Girafarig. If you don't agree with me, talk to Kenji-Girl about this. PattyMan 18:10, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Unless we see a female Girafarig after the gender differences, we can't assume this one is male. --Pokemaster97 22:13, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Don't you guys think it's a bit different with Lyra? She never appeared before the DP series, so that argument isn't valid. Maybe the writers are just avoiding adding in a female Girafarig somehow? GamerGeek 01:12, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Not really. PattyMan 02:56, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
