Shore Up (Japanese: すなあつめ Sand Gather) is a non-damaging Ground-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Sandygast and Palossand.

Effect

Generation VII

Shore Up restores the user's current HP based on the weather in the battle. Outside of a sandstorm, it restores ½ total HP; during a sandstorm, it restores ⅔ total HP.

If powered up by a Groundium Z into Z-Shore Up, all of the user's lowered stats are reset.

Generation VIII

In Version 1.0 to 1.1.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Shore Up cannot be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.2.0, it can be selected and functions as it did in previous generations.
