Psycho Boost (Japanese: サイコブースト Psychoboost) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III. It is the signature move of Deoxys in the handheld games.

Effect

Psycho Boost inflicts damage, and lowers the user's Special Attack stat by two stages.

• Psycho Boost has the highest base power out of all Template:Type2 moves.
• Psycho Boost has the same description as its Template:Type2 counterpart, Overheat.
• Despite this move is Deoxys's signature move, Lugia still able to learn move, only via purification in Pokémon XD, then can transfer to Generation IV games via Pal Park.
