- Two Shiny Guzzlord appear from two other Ultra Wormholes.
- Professor Kukui is revealed to own a Lucario and an Electrium Z.
- Ash's Poipole returns, having evolved into a Naganadel and learned Thunderbolt.
- Using Kukui's Electrium Z, Naganadel performs Gigavolt Havoc for the first time.
- The three Guzzlord are defeated and sent back to Ultra Space.
