Ken (Japanese: アカバネ Akabane) is the Club Master of the Fire Club (Japanese: ファイアクラブ Fire Club). He plays using the Fire Charge Deck (Japanese: ほのおのとっしんデッキ Fire Take Down Deck) and gives away the Fire Medal to challengers who defeat him. In Template:Card GB 2, he uses the ゆけ!ウィンディデッキ Go! Windie Deck.
His club is a colosseum filled with flaming torches.

His main tactic is a high-risk high return one, using powerful attacks that damage the user as well. A deck with a balance of Water and Fighting types can defeat his deck. An early strike tactic causing slow but steady damage can thwart his strategy of recoil damaging attacks, as they will risk knocking out his Pokémon out as well. Chansey is particularly weak, with its Double Edge causing 80 damage to itself, leaving it open to weaker attacks.
In Pokémon Card GB2
Upon defeat, awards the player with 1 pack of Sky Flying Pokémon and 1 pack of Psychic Battle.
