A Fun Old Man (Japanese: ほがらかおじいさん Cheerful Old Man) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD. They are hunched over old men who rely on canes. Like many of Orre's Trainer classes, they do not specialize in any particular strategy or Pokémon type.

Their female counterpart is a Matron.
