Physiology
Chillachino is a furry, gray colored rodent-like Pokémon, looking like Chillarmy except for the pure gray color and long white fur. Like Chillarmy, it still retains its large ears, located to the sides of its head, with red insides partly covered by the aforementioned tufts of fur. Its eyes are large and brown, with a small, dot-like nose. Its limbs are somewhat rounded and small, and its tail is long, fluffy and incredibly white in color. It also has two large long fluffs on its head just like its tail.
Cinccino is a furry, gray, chinchilla-like Pokémon. It has large ears located to the sides of its head, with red insides partly covered by tufts of fur. Its eyes are large and brown, with a small, rounded nose. Its limbs are somewhat rounded and small, and its tail is long, fluffy, and incredibly white in color. Cinccino also has two large long fluffs on its head that wrap around its back. Cinccino uses its long fur as a scarf. <!--Pokédex 3D confirms that the two fur strands on its head and the scarf are separate.-->
Gender differences
None.

Special abilities
Cinccino's fur is coated in a special oil that repels enemy attacks. Cinccino also uses this oil to coat its nest, protecting it from dust. The oil can also be used as a skin treatment, and is sold for a high price. Cinccino's fur feels amazing to touch, and it repels dust and prevents static electricity buildup.

Behavior
Prior to Generation VIII, Tail Slap was its signature move, but other Pokémon could still inherit it via breeding.

Habitat
Evolution
Cinccino evolves from Minccino.

Diet
(For specifics on this Pokémon's evolution in the games, refer to Game data→Evolution data.)

Minor appearances
* In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, Cinccino runs the Gift Shop, and is friends with the Box Buster's Rampardos but is oblivious to his affections to her. She reappears in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon and can be recruited after passing a letter between her and Rampardos. Aside from Rampardos, she is also connected with a female Wobbuffet.

Origin
Origin
Chillachino is based on a Long-tailed chinchilla. Its hair seems to be based on a mid-1900's, possibly 1970s, Western-style hairdo.
Cinccino seems to be based on a chinchilla. Its white "hair" is very similar in appearance to . The white fur draped around its neck resembles shawls, scarf, and feather boa, possibly a reference to how chinchillas are controversially hunted for their fur.

Name origin
Name origin
Its name is likely a combination of chinchilla and chino cloth.
Cinccino and Chillaccino may be a combination of chinchilla and chino cloth. The suffix -ino or -cino is also a diminutive to denote something small.

Cinccino (Japanese: チラチーノ Chillaccino) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V.

It evolves from Minccino when exposed to a Shiny Stone.

Biology

Cinccino cleaning itself

Cinccino is a furry, gray, chinchilla-like Pokémon. It has large ears located to the sides of its head, with red insides partly covered by tufts of fur. Its eyes are large and brown, with a small, rounded nose. Its limbs are somewhat rounded and small, and its tail is long, fluffy, and incredibly white in color. Cinccino also has two large long fluffs on its head that wrap around its back. Cinccino uses its long fur as a scarf.

Prior to Generation VIII, Tail Slap was its signature move, but other Pokémon could still inherit it via breeding.

Evolution

Cinccino evolves from Minccino.

Trivia

 • Due to an error, Cinccino is unable to learn Thief via TM in Pokémon Black and White, while its pre-evolved form Minccino does. This issue was later fixed in Black 2 and White 2.
 • Cinccino and its pre-evolved form were designed by Atsuko Nishida, and almost no changes were made to her original designs. They were intended to be parallels of Kanto's Clefairy and Clefable; Pokémon that everyone would think was cute. Nishida was hired specifically for her reputation in Game Freak for her skill in designing cute characters.[1]
 • Cinccino is the only fully-evolved Pokémon to appear first when the player starts a new game.

Origin

Cinccino seems to be based on a chinchilla. Its white "hair" is very similar in appearance to high-class women's hairstyles in the early 1600s. The white fur draped around its neck resembles shawls, scarves, and boas, possibly a reference to how chinchillas are controversially hunted for their fur.

Name origin

Cinccino and Chillaccino may be a combination of chinchilla and chino cloth. The suffix -ino or -cino is also a diminutive to denote something small.
