Thank you for joining our community! By creating an account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. This is a brief introduction to Bulbapedia's rules and resources to help you get started:

  • All users are expected to follow the code of conduct and to be kind to one another.
  • If you have a question, check out our FAQ; the manual of style provides detailed editing guidance, and the wikicode page provides details about how to use wikicode.
    • You can always ask for help by contacting a staff member.
  • Please preview your edits before saving them; this helps you double-check your changes and reduces the need for repeated minor edits.
  • Use talk pages to discuss changes and resolve editing disputes.
  • Creating a userpage is allowed after you've added to the encyclopedia; for more details, see the userspace policy.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~) so people know who is commenting. This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and information, check out the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Edit conflict

Regarding your recent edits and discussion on the Scizor article: while I take responsibility for removing content without a proper explanation, I feel you should be aware as well that repeatedly adding removed content back in to an article can be viewed as edit warring. You also complain about users not being open to discussion, but it took two users removing the content for you to take it to the talk page and actually attempt to talk it out, and you made no effort to wait for a response before simply adding the content back in. It's generally courteous to give users at least 3 days to respond. In the future, if you disagree with one or more users about the contents of a page, try discussing it first before just jumping to add it back in. Thank you. Landfish7 04:31, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

I understand, thank you for the notice, however I did try to explain it through the user's talk pages, but I did not see my discussion thread appear on their page, so i thought they might not allow others to open a discussion page on their profile, that's why I tried to revert attention to the discussion page of Scizor (not sure why, btw i can only access the site with cellphone). I'm also disappointed that my edits were rejected with very little or no explanation at all and Not only in the case for Scizor. My edit referencing Meowth walking on four legs in a game was instantly rejected and with only a not true explanation (while it could have also been temporarily removed and i could have been asked to submit some kind of proof, or the information provided could have been checked (a quick check on google on overworld sprites in hgss) before being removed), while it is true.
I admit my mistake about re-editing the page (wouldn't have done it if i was able to open a discussion directly on the user page), but these outright rejections lacking explanation and not asking for more details, are not very helpful or welcoming traits of Bulbapedia. Context on the Meowth thing, I originally misunderstood your original edit and thought you were saying that Meowth is never depicted on two legs in the games, which would be blatantly untrue. I realized my mistake which is why I didn't remove it when you re-added it to the trivia section, which I think is a better place for that info anywyay. As for Scizor, I believe we've given plenty of explanation on that at this point, though I admit I could have discussed it before removing it. All that being said, I will try to be more careful in the future before reverting an edit and I will try to make an effort to give more complete and helpful edit summaries going forward. Thank you. hahaha didn't realize it was you with meowth xD your reach out is appreciated :) Lphits (talk) 09:26, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Btw it's not a huge deal but I would consider indenting your comments to distinguish them from previous comments. Cheers! Landfish7 09:28, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Reaponding to comments

Firstly, do not reply to a comment that is over 6 months old, as the section may have already been resolved or the original user that started the discusdion may no longer be around to see your comment, rendering a reply useless.

Secondly, I get you're passionate about Pokemon origins, but please keep it short and concise. Don't go on and on, as it just leaves a giant wall of text that becomes a chore to read through. Don't go too off tangent, stick to the topic at hand.

Thirdly, please indent your comments whenever you make a new one. You can indnt your comments by adding a colon. Adding more colons will indent your comment deeper.--ForceFire 05:41, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

appreciate the advice, will keep them in mind.

sorry, noticed just recently that pressing the enter doesn't do anything... xD (always accessing the site from cellphone, not sure how it works on pc), will pay more attention to colons as well. not used to typing longer sentences on phone.

You're still not indenting your comments. Also, please avoid leaving several comments in separate edits. If someone was responding to your first comment and you post another one, it interrupts the edit and now they have to rewrite their comment or copy it back into the page.
