SnorlaxMonster

Hi, whereas we appreciate your interest in becoming an excellent editor, you must remember some etiquette too, such as the talk pages you reply in. This specific part encourages everyone to let the destinatary reply, especially if said user is found online (you can still see him in the RC). It's generally found rude if someone else replies on a talk page when the question is directed to someone else, so please avoid doing that (or at least wait between thirty minutes and an hour before replying). BW083 Poisoning

Both episodes showed the actual Poison status condition. However, one was caused by a direct attack, the other by a status move. Maybe it should be reworded to reflect that. G 50 14:34, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Snorlax/Bayleef in Old Family Blend

I'm getting sick of having to correct it. If you watch the episode, you'll see that Ash returns Snorlax into the Poké Ball in his right hand, and then looks in surprise at the Poké Ball in his left, saying he didn't request that one. Therefore it can't possibly have been Snorlax that was sent, only one of the two we haven't seen yet (Bayleef and Cyndaquil). Follow this up with the scene where Barry is attacked by an unknown Pokémon, which isn't revealed to the viewer until Ash finds her. Why put suspense if Bayleef wasn't the one to sneak over? Consider their personalities also - Bayleef misses Ash terribly, wheras Heracross is easily distracted and Snorlax very lazy. Doesn't Bayleef swapping with Heracross, as opposed to Snorlax making an effort for something, make sense?

Please do not change it back, I have had so many editors mistakingly change it because they don't note that Ash is looking at an empty ball, not Snorlax's ball. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 04:29, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Advice about when you disagree with a user's actions

It would be best in this case if you contacted Yvnr, and waited for a response before reverting all of their edits. A lot of their edits were fine in my opinion, which means you're only creating more work if we decide to keep their edits. A lot of the trivia they took off was blatantly obvious from the contents of the page, which is similar to why we don't allow sprite trivia. ^★Jo the Marten^★ ಠ_ಠ ♥ 20:12, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Welcoming spambots

If a user creates a talk page filled with nonsensical text in English or other languages and then asks to visit a site, they're a spambot. Please do not put the welcome template, as these are neither people nor welcome here. Just add a delete template or something. Ataro (talk) 16:56, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Ash's team history

I know it's been years since you edited the page, but out of curiosity, do you have plans to continue your user page on Ash's team history at any point? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:18, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

I'd considered it a few times in the past before but just never got around to doing this, and to be honest, my enthusiasm for the anime is at an all-time low right now. While I'd like to continue it, I wouldn't want to risk letting my personal thoughts bleed off into that my old fun little project and subsequently corrupting the Journeys section into a very repetitive and not at all entertaining "why I despise Journeys with all my heart and soul" section, because most of my distaste happens to revolve around Ash's activities. It might be a good means of catharsis for me but I should consider the readers and I don't think that would be fair for them to scroll through. Sad to say but for the moment it's on indefinite hiatus until I personally find peace with all that's going down. -Gengar zilla! 03:59, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
