There needs to be some sort of spoiler warning regarding the whole Mask of Ice issue in Special. --Greengiant 23:58, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Sheila
Is Sheila Pryce's wife, or just his friend? Manga-in-a-bottle 02:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- She's just an old friend of his. In the dub, at least, they don't mention any relation. I personally always thought of her as his daughter, but that's just me. --PAK Man Talk 04:31, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Do we really need the Mask of Ice image in Pryce's Article
I *know* that Pryce is the Mask of Ice, but the little section about his manga appearance has the "Spoiler Warning" image. And right below that is an image of the Mask of Ice. Images are much more eye catching than text itself, so people may very well be spoiled by that one image in Pryce's article. The Mask of Ice image is fine in its own article, but it's just a spoiler in the Pryce article. -Mudkipchan 01:58, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Again about the Mask of Ice
Sorry to raise an old issue, but shouldn't we somehow remove the header "As Mask of Ice" from "Pokémon" section? It appears in the table of contents and, of course, no spoiler warnings will help. But I don't know how to do it without hurting the style of the page.
Btw, we should also do something about this talk page. Someone who has just begun reading Pokémon Special may come to this page. --Pokeresp 07:57, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- -points at self-. Hmm...a self made table of contents?Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links08:03 17 Aug 2008
- Erm... Sorry? If you meant the only solution would be a custom table of contents - are you sure? --Pokeresp 19:54, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Is that Mask of Ice bit even necessary? He's not limited on what pokemon he can use based on whether he is in disguise or not. If someone was to move all of his Pokemon into one section, rather than having 'As Pryce' and 'As Mask of Ice', it would not only remove the spoiler appearing in the contents page but it would actually be more accurate. You could even write underneath "Pryce only uses a,b and c when in disguise and only uses x, y and z when out of disguise. --Gastly's Mama

Young Pryce
Has anyone noticed Pryce in his youth looks like Gary Oak ? Livinlarge18 00:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Mask of Ice/Guile Hideout
I see that both of them are soft redirects but should the info about their alter ego be put in the soft redirect page instead of the person who they really are to prevent "spoilers"?--☆Coolピカチュウ! 00:31, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Does Pryce have unlimited PP on his pokemon? Heart Gold
So I've been fighting Pryce for going on an hour now, and his Dewgong has used Rest more than 25 times (I stopped counting) and the max PP for Rest is 16... I've used 2 max elixirs now and I don't have any moves that can one shot this Dewgong. I really don't want to just let my Pokemon die so I can go over train them all just to club this seal. - unsigned comment from Twiggsmgw (talk • contribs)
- That's interesting. Try using some X items so you can one-shot it. Also, please sign your comments using ~~~~. 梅子❀✿ 19:36, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I finally beat him, got two lucky crits before he could rest again. sorry about not signing, this is my first (well now second) post. Twiggsmgw 20:09, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Rematch
In this article, it says you can talk to him between 7am and 10am every morning to get his phone number, but on the rematch article, it says from 6am to 10am. Which is right? --エルレイド 06:58, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Can we move up the spoiler tag?
I mean for the manga it says Spoiler, but then there's a big old picture of Price holding the mask which is pretty much a spoiler itself. People's eyes usually drift to pictures first. I say we move the warning somewhere higher up like the beginning of the page or something be done with the picture. I'm bringing this up again because issue had no real closure before. --Pokemaster97 22:44, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm wondering if we should just revert the image back to the one electAbuzzzz uploaded originally. I know Ataro's version is higher resolution, but the mask pretty much gives the whole thing away. I wouldn't really move the spoiler tag any higher, since an encyclopedia is full of spoilers by nature, and the reader might not necessarily realise that the spoiler regards Pokémon Adventures if they see it at the very top of the page (or they are more likely to ignore it) so i prefer the spoiler tag at the very top of the Adventures section, but maybe we could change the image because you see that picture before you see the spoiler tag anyways :P --ZestyCactus 23:03, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good solution to me. I don't know what others think though.. --Pokemaster97 00:05, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Worth adding to the trivia section ?
During the end credits of HeartGold and SoulSilver, Pryce appears during the "Rocket Time", even though he has no connection to them whatsoever in the games. I think GameFreak gave an homage to the Pokémon SPECIAL series here, but I can't make any formal statement of course... That would seem legitimate though, seeing how they "officialised" Silver's parental bound to Giovanni in HG/SS.
Thoughts ? -- InvocK 16:56, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- I think it's a bit of a stretch. He was the last leader shown is all. Plus, it's not like he was on the screen at the same time as the Rockets. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 17:03, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
This Trivia statement doesn't make sense
"* Pryce is the first Gym Leader who both specializes in the Ice type and is the 7th Gym Leader, the others being Candice and Brycen."
I think that this statement was just a coincidence that they all happened to be ice-type Gym leaders and were the 7th to be battled in the their respective regions. There is a pattern though but I decided to turn it into this statement to make it more clear and precise. Besides we're talking about two points in one sentence. In other bulbapedia articles, I've seen people divide it into this format.
- Pryce was the first Gym Leader to be introduced in the series who specializes with Ice-type Pokémon, the others that followed were Candice and Brycen.
- Coincidentally, they were also the seventh Gym Leaders whom the player faces in their respective regions.
So I suggest that it should be kept this way.
- Blueknightex 21:45, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Or maybe this way:
- Pryce was the first Gym Leader to be introduced in the series who specializes with Ice-type Pokémon, the others that followed were Candice and Brycen. Coincidentally, they were also the seventh Gym Leaders whom the player faces in their respective regions.
- Since we're talking about two points in one sentence. Blueknightex 22:07, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Well to you it is (probably). Anyways your trivia information has been removed now. I do agree its not that notable that's why I found it difficult to comprehend and I created this section.- unsigned comment from Blueknightex (talk • contribs)
Willow.
Since Willow is his middle name should we list that name above his picture and information? The full name of the character is also listed above the image on pages like 'Professor Oak' being 'Professor Samuel Oak'. Nickvang (talk) 18:08, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
I didn't get it....
I saw the Pokémon Adventures image of Pryce and I saw another one showing him with the mask of Ice, so I decided to upload that image, but before doing that, I saw in the hisory someone who had already done that, but it was undone because the description said it was too much spoilers. Then I got confused: Since the artcile clearly explains that Pryce is the Masked Man and the spoiler box is there, why the image was undone? I thought the one that shows the mask is better despite showing the direct point of the history, but if someone doesn't want spoilers, he/she shouldn't even being here in first place (that what someone whotold me).
P.S.: Sorry for my bad English.--Igor (talk) 16:45, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- It was decided here that the image was too big of a spoiler for the article. The first thing the reader saw when they went to the manga section was the big picture, followed by a tiny spoiler warning. Zesty Cactus agreed that it would be better to replace the picture with one that didn't give away a major plot ending with no warning. --Pokemaster97 16:52, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
