Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and an illustration rare card in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, first released in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion. The Regular print features artwork by chibi, while the illustration rare Secret print features artwork by Nelnal. The Regular card was later reprinted in the Japanese Fighting Koraidon ex Start Deck, and as an SV-P Promotional card as part of a collaboration with the NAKANO STYLING TANTO line of hair products. Eight original "NAKANO STYLING TANTO × Pokémon Card Game" branded hair products were released on August 1, 2023; each purchase includes a promo pack which contains one of 8 possible pairs of Pokémon and Basic Energy cards. These cards feature the "NAKANO STYLING TANTO" logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.[1]

The Regular print was also reprinted, alongside a new print with artwork by sowsow featuring the Shiny version of Riolu, in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset.
