Release information

This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Nakaoka, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion. It was also included in the Empoleon Half Deck of the Japanese Entry Pack. It was reprinted in the POP Series 6 with new artwork by Atsuko Nishida. In Japan, this print was distributed at a couple of events present at the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Battle Festa★2006. It was given to participants of the Battle Road Stadium DP event, as well as to those who successfully completed a "Double Experience" quiz, answers to which could be found while participating in the Triple Beat DP and Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Experience Corner side events. The Battle Festa took place at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall, Kobe on November 25 and 26, 2006; at Port Messe Nagoya, Nagoya on December 2 and 3, 2006; at the West Japan General Exhibition Center, Kitakyushu on December 9 and 10, 2006; and at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on December 16 and 17, 2006.

It was reprinted with English-exclusive artwork by Daisuke Ito as part of the Manaphy Half Deck of the Diamond & Pearl Trainer Kit. A Cosmos Holofoil variant of the POP Series 6 print was available in the Majestic Dawn Two Pack Blisters released in June 2008. A promotional Mirror Reverse Holofoil variant of the Diamond & Pearl print with a "Diamond & Pearl" stamp was also released as part of a Burger King promotion in July 2008.
