→Mark of completion: In one location, I have everything (including NDex hidden Pokemon) except one fishing Pokemon, but I have a silver crown
−72
→Search Level: Changing this. While waiting for a Forretress to appear at Mirage Mountain near Lilycove City, Rufflet kept appearing, so I destroyed the second to get Level 2. Every Rufflet (about 15-20) from then on had no Egg Moves.

Undo revision 2223771 by SnorlaxMonster (talk) - It's not misleading at all. You have to wait for DexNav to find them to sneak up on them. They don't appear otherwise.
−22
→Mark of completion: calling them "DexNav-exclusive" is misleading, since you don't use DexNav at all to find them the first time (although you can analyze them with it)
+22
→Mark of completion: For several game mechanics, fishing is land-based. Also, Rock Smash is ignored by DexNav, as are special encounters like invisible Kecleon. "Land-based" alone does not make this clear.
+28
→Mark of completion: More clarification.
+42
→Mark of completion: Adding slight clarification here. Routes 107, 126, and 128 are examples of this. Have yet to see seaweed on any Route that has land encounters.
+79
→Catching progress view: No sense ; The /specificity/ seems unnecessary... What's the point? Keep it simple (...That'll do for now; I'll think about some of the rest a bit more tomorrow)

clarifying tall grass/long grass | "land-based" is unnecessarily nonspecific | Note about seaweed on the AreaNav | There's more nuance to it than just "encounter types currently available to the player" (eg deep sand pre-Go-Goggles)
+688
→Catching progress view: Simplifying and clarifying (as well as I understand)... (Idk what "combination"/long grass was referring to) The magnifying glass is obvious in-game, not worth confusion

→Chaining: So essentially that?
−185
→Search Level: I'm assuming there was some misreading of the guidebook that resulted in this. Hiding until I work out what the problem is. I've also found Pokemon contradicting what was originally here.
+7
→Chaining: Background: I chained Sandshrews on Route 113. It eventually could not be found. I did find a Lv.30 Spinda, and the chain continued with the Spinda counting in the chain, leading to a Lv.37 capture later on.

→Chaining: On second thought, if you don't need to Search, it's not really a "DexNav" feature. And if that first sentence says capture/defeat, I imagine breaking is indeed the opposite
m+3
→Chaining: Improving wording. XY's (or earlier?) PokeRadar doesn't explicitly disclose length either, so IMO that's not worth mentioning. "normal"?

→Benefits: Didn't mean to move that one

→Benefits: This stuff seems not well researched... I'd not seen a Lotad, it popped up "hidden" on Rt102, and was lv5 with Teeter Dance. (If I should change anywhere else, I'm not sure where atm)

→Benefits: Just encountered in Mirage Forest, at Lv.2 Search, a Cherrim with Tickle. No Ability displayed. Confirms this change.

→Nearby Pokémon: I was able to capture non-Hoenn Pokémon with no issue after receiving the National Pokédex pre-Wallace, as the NatDex only requires facing Groudon/Kyogre.

→Nearby Pokémon: I swear I typed curly braces the first time.
→Nearby Pokémon: Worth noting, I have been training on Route 126 and can confirm this happens.

→Mark of completion: Notes on the phrases as I had captured everything available (except Bagon) and watched some crowns turn immediately platinum at that point; all were gold before.

→Hidden Pokémon: So that's why I'd never seen one naturally before. Get the Balance Badge and they appear as frequently as in grass. For water at least, this is also reflected in the dialogue of the Fisherman of Route 118.
