In Japan, this card was available as an insert with the August 1999 issue of CoroCoro Comic Special. The card was never released in English.

Trivia

  • The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Movie "Pikachu’s Rescue Adventure" special jumbo card ".
  • The card text on the bottom of the card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "CoroCoro Comic Special August issue supplement."
  • This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
