Effect
Generation II
When this move is used a rainfall will start on the field which will last for 5 turns. This clears any other weather effect.
While Rain Dance is on effect the base power of Water-type moves will be increased by 50% and the base power of Fire-type moves will be decreased by 50%. Also the moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight will recover only 1/4 of the user's maximum HP. Thunder will be 100% accurate under Rain Daince effect. Solarbeam will take one extra turn to charge.
