The Pokémon franchise first reached Lithuania in December 24, 2005 with the airing of EP001.
Pokémon video games
The games are released in Lithuania at the same time as all other European countries. They are not localized to Lithuanian, but are in English. Since 2000, the sale of NIntendo products has been handled by Bergsala AB.[1]
Pokémon anime
The Pokémon anime started to air in the Lithuanian language at 14:55, December 24, 2005 (UTC+2) on the Lithuanian channel BTV. The series aired from EP001 up to AG040, for a couple of times over the years.
The first seven Pokémon movies aired at different channels, though the dates of their airings have gone lost.
In Lithuania, the anime is available on Netflix.
