Pokémon in Latvia
The Pokémon franchise, called Pokemoni in Latvian, first reached Latvia in 2000 with the airing of EP001.

Pokémon video games
The games are released in Latvia at the same time as all other European countries, and are left in English. Distribution of Nintendo products has been handled by Bergsala AB from 1990s.
Pokémon animation
For the first time, the Pokémon animated series appeared on PBK television. Because the channel was Russian-language it only showed the Russian dub. From September 6, 2001 and airing every weekday at 6:30pm, LNT began broadcasting the animated series, this time with dubbing in Latvian. There is no other information.[1][2]
Movies
A Latvian subtitled version of POKÉMON Detective Pikachu was shown in cinemas on May 10, 2019.
