Thousand Waves (Japanese: サウザンウェーブ Thousand Waves) is a damage-dealing Ground-type move introduced in Generation VI, but didn't become available until Generation VII. It is one of the signature moves of Zygarde.

Effect

Thousand Waves inflicts damage and prevents foes from fleeing or switching out as long as the user remains in battle. Ghost-type Pokémon cannot be trapped by this move.
