- Blue and Diantha meet with Gurkinn at the Lost Hotel.
- Blue is revealed to be a Mega Evolution Successor.
- X and his friends arrive in Anistar City, only to find Professor Sycamore under attack.
- X's Pinsir is revealed to be named Rute while Y's Absol is named Solsol.
- Together, X and Y rescue Professor Sycamore.
- Sycamore reveals that due to the ultimate weapon firing on Kalos, X and Y are now able to search for Mega Stones between 8 PM and 9 PM.
- X and Y give their Mega Rings to Tierno and Shauna so that they may find the Mega Stones for Rute and Solsol.
- Essentia watches the event from afar, but is spotted by Y.
