The Suzuran Conference (Japanese: スズラン大会 Suzuran Conference) is the Sinnoh League general championship competition.

The setting for the competition

The conference is held annually on Suzuran Island. Competing Trainers are housed in a giant hotel.

Rounds

Preliminaries rounds

The Trainers involved have their matches in one of the three arenas where the battles consist of a three on three battle. The battles take place on either a Grass, Rock, Ice, or Water field. When all three Pokémon are unable to battle, the Trainer is knocked out of the tournament.

Final rounds

The Top 8 Trainers have a full battle of six on six, and when either Trainer has lost their six Pokémon, they are knocked out of the tournament.
