Release information

In March 2007, a preview holographic Piplup card from Diamond & Pearl was one of the cards available in the Spring 2007 Collector Tins. The card was later reprinted in the Diamond & Pearl Trainer Kit. It was reprinted again in POP Series 6 with different artwork by Atsuko Nishida, and as a DP Black Star Promo with another different artwork by that artist. The DP Black Star Promo card was released in June 2007 in Diamond & Pearl Blister packs. This card was reprinted yet again in POP Series 8 with different artwork by Atsuko Nishida.
