Some Bulbapedia members have formed a project to better organise efforts to write and improve articles about Pokémon Trading Cards. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page or the Bulbapedia forum and see the Bulbapedia:Project TCGDex/To-do list.

Project TCGdex

Scope and aims

Project TCGDex covers all entries and articles about every Pokémon cards, Trainer cards and Energy Cards from the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Its goal is to produce the most comprehensive database on all Pokémon Trading Cards, from basic information on to the most technical aspects possible.

Participants

To join the project, simply add your name to the bottom of this list:

• Jason - Currently working on GB1/GB2 related... Also have the good quality Japanese scans, all of them..since most of you were in diapers.
• PhoenixZero - Lots of pre-EX cards. Currently working on the Team Rocket set.
• Punkrockrevel - Right now, I'm doing the Southern Islands set.
• Politoed666 - Working on occasional needed scans, writing articles on EX Deoxys.
• Arri - If there's anything specific that you want me to do, just write. So far, Im just adding where I see.
• TTEchidna - Making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Jts21 - Working on Mysterious Treasures cards right now. All cards from Skull Charge are completed.
• shiningpikablu252 - Working on various odds and ends. Will hopefully work on card articles for Stormfront when the time comes. Also does some of TTEchidna's dirty work. Given that most of my physical card collection consists of cards whose articles already have images, you won't be seeing many images from me...
• Netto-kun - Working on Diamond & Pearl and Mysterious Treasures cards.
• Groudon465 - Working on EX Holon Phantoms cards.
• Tina - Scans and articles. Just got tons of cards, so what we don't have I'll be glad to contribute.
• Pachirisulover12 - Currently working on the POP series 1.
• Berrymaster - Uploading scans for select Wizard Promos, and Base Set 1, 2, Jungle and Fossil.
• Moldy orange - Adding the appropriate card links from Japanese Half Decks in the EX-era. Followed by a re-vamp of the illustrators' pages.
• thevictor390 - Working on English scans of Many Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil cards, plus a few Gym Heroes and Rocket.
• Cipher - Planning to scan in over 100 Diamond & Pearl cards.
• Drapion - adding cards wherever I can. Oh, for the day when all cards will be done!
• PokePal- Will work when can...
• KriZ- adding some cards...
• Puff- Trying to help with Typo's and older cards.
• Xaigon paladin - Im new and not the best, but I am great at gathering information, still trying to get the hang of the program.
• Christiangamer7 - I am going to try to get scans for English Pokémon cards that we do not already have starting with Base Set
• Lemonnlime - I have a lot of cards from the newer DP sets, and i can add scans from them sets when i get the chance. Also, if you need me to do something in particular feel free to put me to work =D.
• Lavacrust - I have some scans i could contribute.
• SupremeBlisseyFan-odd and ends, mostly promotional card-related.
• Charmander234-looking for scans, looking at the "no images" cards category, starting alphabetically
• Icelilly - I've been getting tons of new cards lately so I can scan up cards we don't have.
• H4r8z0r - I'll be scanning in pictures for the DP era, as well as adding in small details to previous sets where necessary.

1. Create Pokémon Trading Card pages. The Dark Metal Energy (TCG) and Charizard (Base Set 4) page are good examples.

Link templates

These link templates are particularly useful for making lists of the cards available in the different sets or theme decks.

• {{TCG}} - This link template is for cards which appear widely in the game, such as energy cards. To use this link template, type in {{TCG|Card Name}}. For example, {{TCG|Dark Metal Energy}} would result in Dark Metal Energy.
• {{TCG ID}} - This link template is for cards which appear in only certain sets, such as Pokémon cards and trainer cards. To use this link template, type in {{TCG ID|Set Name|Card Name|Number}}. For example, {{TCG ID|Base Set|Charizard|4}} would result in Charizard.
• {{ct}} - This link template is to link to the TCG types, much like the {{type2}} template links to types from the handheld games.
