This is a reverse-chronological list of event Pokémon distributions that were given away locally to all region Pokémon games in Generation VI. Currently, no local event in Generation VI has been region locked.
This Diancie will be distributed in theaters via local wireless during the airing of Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction from July 19 to September 30, 2014 and during a pre-release event on July 6, 2014.
These Pokémon will bedistributed via infrared to players who attend the World Championships 2014 Qualification Tournament at the Yeongdeungpo Lotte Department Store in Seoul, South Korea. Pinsir, Tyranitar, and Manectric will be distributed on July 5, 2014 while Heracross, Houndoom, and Aggron will be distributed on July 6, 2014. Heracross, Tyranitar, and Manectric will be distributed to Pokémon X while Pinsir, Houndoom, and Aggron will be distributed to Pokémon Y.
This Pikachu was distributed via local wireless at various locations across Japan on June 15, 2014. This Pikachu represents Japanese World Cup team member Atsuto Uchida, who has the jersey number 22.
These Pokémon were distributed at Pokémon Center stores over six different distribution periods. A different Pokémon was distributed during each distribution period, for a overall distribution period of May 10 to June 22, 2014.
These Pokémon will be distributed again over two different distributions at Pokémon Center stores. Gyarados, Scizor, and Kangaskhan will be distributed from June 23 to July 6, 2014. Gengar, Mawile, and Tyranitar will be distributed from July 7 to 21, 2014. The Pokémon that will be distributed will alternate every hour, starting with Gyarados or Gengar at 10:00 am and ending with Scizor or Tyranitar at 9:00 pm.
A tournament called Pokémon Center Battle Championship will also be held where players can battle the Elite 4 of each Pokémon Center.
This Garchomp wasdistributed via infrared to players who attended the World Championships 2014 Qualification Tournament. It was distributed first at the Joongdong Lotte Department Store from April 12 to 13, 2014 between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm and again at the Centum CityHomeplus store on April 19, 2014 between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
These Pokémon were distributed at Pokémon Center stores from February 1 to 28, 2014. The Pokémon that was distributed alternated every hour between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm; Gengar was distributed during even numbered hours and Scizor was distributed during odd numbered hours. Despite promotional materials stating only one Pokémon could be obtained per game, they were initially able to be obtained multiple times on the same game cartridge. However, this error was corrected a few days later.
This Sylveon was distributed at select stores across Taiwan from January 4 to 19, 2014. In Hong Kong, it was distributed as part of the Nintendo 3DS Party at Hung Hom Station Exit C Lobby on January 18 and 19, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Although this distribution wasn't region locked, the title and distribution text were always in English.
This Wobbuffet was distributed to players who redeemed either a Normal class or Super class Wobbuffet Tretta piece at either the Pokémon Card Game Battle Festa or the 39th Next Generation World Hobby Fair. It was also available at Pokémon Center stores. It was distributed as part of the "Sounansu Slipped Out, That's Right!" campaign.
This Inkay was distributed from November 22, 2013 to January 26, 2014 to celebrate the new Pokémon Center store in Japan, Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay. It was also distributed at all of the other Pokémon Center stores from December 26, 2013 to January 26, 2014. This distribution wasn't region locked, but the title and distribution text were always in Japanese.
These Pokémon were distributed to players in Japan if they visited a Pokémon Center store up to two weeks before or after their birthday, but only if they provided proof of their date of birth. The distribution started on October 12, 2013.
