Volcarona (Japanese: ウルガモス Ulgamoth) is a Fire-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Dark Explorers expansion.

Release information
This card was included in the Dark Explorers expansion with artwork by Shin Nagasawa, first released in the Japanese Dark Rush expansion. It was reprinted as one of the Japanese BW-P Promotional cards with different artwork by the same artist, given to customers who purchased a booster box of Dark Rush upon its release at participating stores. The set logo is featured in the bottom right corner of the artwork. This print was released as the Prerelease promo for the Dark Explorers expansion. For the first time since Prerelease promos were introduced, this release was one of the BW Black Star Promos, instead of a card actually in the set.
