Pokémon in Ireland

Hi Chris. You're in the "Users from Ireland" category so I'll assume you're Irish. I wanted to ask for your help writing a Project Globe article about Pokémon in Ireland, similar to the ones we have on Canada and New Zealand. The main reason I'm targeting Ireland now, TBH, is because I want to get rid of this page, but the bottom line is that we need the article anyway. Could you write something up? Thanks. --electAbuzzzz 11:40, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Yea, sure I'll give it a bash. Thankfully there are already articles for Canada and NZ that I can base it off of, seeing as it's all English language here as well. Although I will give a bit of a heads-up as several things I put in, particularly when it comes to the channels the anime were shown on and Pokémon related events, will probably mention the UK bearing in mind that the anime was on Sky One over there and we can get it over here too. Also, I might add something about the lack of official events in here, them all begin based in the UK (including Belfast).
Also, for the community section, should I put in a couple of nods to things like the boards.ie Pokéforum and the Dublin Pokéclub? TheChrisD RantsEdits 15:59, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes, do that, thanks. After the Ireland and the UK articles both exist, if we'll feel like they are basically the same, we might merge them... But for now, let's give it a shot. --electAbuzzzz 18:21, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
I've popped up a quick thread on the b.ie forum just looking for a little help from people with regards some of the information that will go into it, if that's OK? Also, will I start the mockup in userspace? TheChrisD RantsEdits 23:14, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
That's perfectly fine, I used members of the Israeli community to help when I started the project. If you can create a good article in one go, I don't mind you starting it in the mainspace. If you're not sure or you want to start it out and then add later until it's ready, then do it in your userspace. --electAbuzzzz 13:41, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, I definitely can't get it to the same quality as most of the other countries in one go, there's too much information that I don't know, especially about the history of the anime being shown over here, so I gave it a start in userspace for the time being: User:TheChrisD/Pokémon in Ireland.
