Hey
I saw your edits to Mudkipluvr4ever's talk page. To make a user page, you have to have made a certain number of mainspace contributions. This is to discourage users from joining just to edit the userspace.--Cold (talk) 22:00, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you SO much. You do not know how excited I am to start! Loghomewill 22:04, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Is there anything you are working on that I can help with? Loghomewill 22:05, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not really. When I have trouble finding things to edit, though, I continually click the Random Page button and fix spelling and grammar mistakes.--Cold (talk) 22:12, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
For now that's basiclly what I'm doing right now. I checked out your Userpage. I have one word to say: Awesome. Loghomewill 00:47, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Talk pages
It's nice and all that you want to nominate people, but you're better off sending an email to the Community Development leader with your nominations instead of spamming people's talk pages, especially if they may be inactive. Thanks. --Psyライダー☮ 03:13, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Got it... Are you an admin? Loghomewill 03:25, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- I will answer, if you do not mind, Psy. He is a Project Leader, which is not an actual staff position but on par with a Junior Admin, if I had to guess. But Psy is a very experienced user here on the 'pedia. If you want to take a look at the current staff (which is always a good thing to know) that list is here. --JediKnightDTV 04:12, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Removing content from talk pages as you did here is against our talk page policy. The staff require all comments to be kept for future reference. Thanks. —darklordtrom 05:16, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
...
What was that comment on my talk page I didn't rly understand...-- Gagaromamah, Your Little Monster 13:42, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Never mind... Loghomewill 23:53, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Preview Button
Please use it, as it's right next to the save button. The preview button allows for multiple edits to be saved as one, as to reduce the amount of multiple edits that appear in the recent changes. Thank you. --Psyライダー☮ 01:21, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
OK, as you can most likely see, I'm very new to this. Loghomewill 14:14, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Edits to your userpage
You will be able to make them after you make a certain amount of edits to the mainspace, and also, after a certain amount of time has passed. Now I am psychic, I know what your next question will be. "How many edits, how much time?" The truth is, it is automatically determined by the software. It was instituted in order to keep people from making the certain amount of edits, and then doing nothing but editing their userpages. In the past, that was what a whole bunch of users did, treating Bulbapedia like it was a social networking site, and it led to a tremendous strain on the servers, and the admins revoking the privilege of editing the userspace for everyone. My advice to you is to do what I did, and just kept busy making good edits to the mainspace, and before you know it, you will be able to. I checked every day to edit my userpage, but it kept giving me the error message, about permission or lack therof. One day, I tried to edit it, and the error message was gone. I suspect it will be the same with you, as it is with everyone. One piece of advice that I will give you, is once you do get the privilege, please do not abuse it (i.e. edit your userpage more than three times per day, the current limit). The admins will not like it, and do not take it lightly. If you have any more questions, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage. --JediKnightDTV 03:39, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, I'll try not to over-do it. Loghomewill 18:35, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Just a suggestion...
...so ignore it if you don't like it or whatever, but have you thought about putting your usertags in a box? It is much cleaner and neater, and they do not stretch across the whole page that way. Also you seem to have a lot of them, so it might be a good idea. If you want to just put <div class="userbox"> at the beginning and </div> at the end of your usertags . If you want to learn how to hide them, then just drop me a line on my talkpage (not trying to be cryptic, I just don't remember exactly how I did it at the moment, so I would have to look and then get back to you). Hope this helps. --JediKnightDTV 05:17, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- I saw that you were trying to put them in the box, but not succeeding. I took a look at the code. Here is the way that it looks right now:
}} {| class="userboxitem" style="border: 1px solid black; background: #FFFFFF; {{#switch:yes|yes=-moz-border-radius: 60px;|no=}}" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" <div class="userbox"> ==Usertags==
- Here is the way it needs to look in order to put the tags in the box:
}} <div class="userbox"> {| class="userboxitem" style="border: 1px solid black; background: #FFFFFF; {{#switch:yes|yes=-moz-border-radius: 60px;|no=}}" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" ==Usertags==
- In other words the <div class="userbox"> needs to move up a couple of lines, is all. Then it will work. And to hide them, I took a look and found what I did. You just put {| width="100%" class="expandable" before your section titles, and then after the last tag in that section, be sure to close it with another "|}". If you need more help, or have any other questions, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage. --JediKnightDTV 16:34, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- I saw that you tried to edit it again. I can see that you copy/pasted the text which I gave you, which was a good idea, except for the fact that (I think) you forgot to remove the old stuff that was already there. If you remove the old stuff, it will work. Remember, you only have one more edit today to fix it, after that, an admin might become annoyed. Also, use the preview button. That way, you can see if they got in the box or not before you hit save. If you need more help, or have any other questions, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage.--JediKnightDTV 20:17, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

On the Preview it looks fine, but when I hit save it screws up again. Loghomewill 22:57, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- If you want, with your permission, I can try to fix it for you. But it is up to you. I do not want to try and do it for you if you want to try to figure it out yourself. But I would be more than happy to help you out. Just let me know what you want to do. --JediKnightDTV 23:59, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Do you want to be able to hide the usertags, like mine on my page? or would you prefer to have them showing all the time? Just want to know before I save the page. --JediKnightDTV 00:12, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, here is what I did. I created two new pages in your userspace, {{User:Loghomewill/CharInfoBox}} and {{User:Loghomewill/Usertags}}. I asked several admins about if it was okay for me to edit in your userspace, since you had used up your three edits today, and Nate got back to me and said it was okay, but that the edits to your userspace would count towards my three edits for today. Since I only had 2 left of my three (I edited something in my userspace this morning), what you can do TOMORROW, is ERASE EVERYTHING off of your userpage, and put {{User:Loghomewill/CharInfoBox}} on your main userpage. That will put the CharInfoBox on your mainpage, with your usertags and everything in it, just like mine. If it shows up with a Table of Contents on it (which it shouldn't, but it might, wikicode is weird, and I don't claim to be a master) just put (above the {{User:Loghomewill/CharInfoBox}} line) <noinclude>__NOTOC____NOEDITSECTION__</noinclude>. The NOTOC is to get rid of the table of contents, and the NOEDITSECTION is to get rid of the little edit things that show up on every section on the page, and the noincludes make sure that it starts at the top of the page, and not one line down. If you want to edit the CharInfoBox or the Usertags, simply go to the appropriate page, edit them, and then hit save. Assuming you don't break something (or even if you do), it will show up on the main page. If you have any more questions or are confused by anything, don't hesitate to drop me a line on my talkpage. --JediKnightDTV 01:52, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
thanks again. Loghomewill 01:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. I am always more than happy to help anyone out, but I especially love to help out new users. If you or your sister need anything, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage. --JediKnightDTV 02:38, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
RE: Story
Sure I'll let you use me in your story. If you want to know my real name is Kaylah just in case. But I am really a nice person you know that right?--KayKay|Chat to me! 06:44, 21 November 2010 (UTC) Yeah, thanks. Loghomewill 06:45, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'd want to be both thanks!--KayKay|Chat to me! 05:42, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Loghomewill 19:35, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
An idea for you, regarding walkthroughs...
Hey Loghomewill,
I haven't been working on the walkthroughs so much as mainly focusing on the CID going on right now. I just wanted to tell you that if you want me to take over as leader of Project Walkthrough, and maybe not get "jumped on" by the admins, then you should talk to my good friend Trommy and point him in my direction. I won't be working on the walkthroughs until the CID is done, so if you do plan on telling Trommy, can you wait until then - and let me know if/when you talk to him? Thanks! chiefboz (my talk and contributions) 05:04, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- The position has been filled by User:KCorp4000. —darklordtrom 05:42, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- Ah. Okay. Sounds good.chiefboz (my talk and contributions) 14:42, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Indenting your replies...
Hey Loghomewill... Sorry to bother you about this, but I've noticed that a lot of your replies on talk pages aren't indented like they should be. Unless it's absolutely necessary, please try to indent your rants comments by typing a single colon (:) before you start writing out your comment. Simple as that! And you can keep adding the colons to indicate that you keep replying to things. This way, we can read your arguments conversations a lot easier. Thanks much! chiefboz (my talk and contributions) 14:28, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Card images
Many of the cards are at a standard naming style. And those that aren't just haven't been moved yet. Just saying: Whenever you want to replace a card image with a scan you did yourself, you should upload a new version of the current image. Also, cards with more than two artwork releases have their images rotating in the infobox everyday. I saw you ask the question on Potion's talk page. MaverickNate 01:50, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Table
Uhhh well I think you can go to this page here that I created.--KayKay|Chat to me! 02:06, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
RE: Synopsis
For the most part it is just wording. For example, I noticed unnecessary repetition or superfluous wording (or "fluff"). There are also a few instances of conflicting tenses. Now don't get me wrong; you took the initiative and added/expanded on a synopsis that desperately needed it, and that's great! I just feel that the flow of the writing could be improved. Vipera 17:25, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I was just wondering what would make it better, so thank you. --Loghomewill (Chat with me!)''(Trainers) 17:29, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Userspace limits
Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User:
namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than one edit per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --Truthseeker4449 20:29, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
