Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. I do use the preview button, but I've got a nasty habit of wanting to change things I've made/posted even after "perfecting" them. It's not a problem on most sites I frequent, but I can see how it could be a nuisance here. I'll try to edit my additions less frequently in the future! Icycatelf (talk) 04:45, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for multiple edits again. I tried adding a thumbnail to Kakuna's trivia section but seem to have messed up the formatting (not being able to see the whole article with the preview button didn't help matters). I'd keep trying but I'd probably get scolded. Hopefully someone else can fix it!Icycatelf (talk) 18:01, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Linking Pokémon articles

Hey! Whenever you link a Pokémon article, any Pokémon article, please use the {{p}} template, otherwise you're leaving behind a redirect. For example, {{p|Ariados}} is the correct usage, not [[Ariados]]. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:05, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Origins

Please don't use definitive wording (X is based off) unless you have a source to back up your claim. Otherwise, use terms like "may be" or "appears to be", regardless of how obvious the origin is. Thank you.--Force Fire 17:21, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
