Sprites

whats up with the sprites? the table has two extra columns...

What do you mean? The blank ones between Crystal and the Gen II back and DP and the Gen IV back? That's just so it looks nice. The backsprite columns line up, the first two version columns line up... the third version columns line up... it's just that Gen I and II never had remakes/four versions, and Gen III (and hopefully Gen IV) both do. nah, it was i didnt realise the tablr was updated with the female/male rows, i meant row when i said columns...sorry.

Trivia: 872 Attack?

I don't think so. The boosts of Choice Band and Huge Power (3x total) raises 218 (its max Attack) up to 654, not 872. Is there some other external factor, or is this just some derpage? SharKing Productions 23:40, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

"Azumarill is the only final form of a baby Pokémon that evolves by level alone." What about Wobbuffet? Actually, this isn't even true for Azumarill, since Azurill evolves into Marill via friendship. Kianglo (talk) 22:30, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

You're right. I'll remove that. Azumarill is, however, the only third-stage evolutionary form of a baby Pokemon whose evolution is always triggered by a level up (as opposed to a stone or trade), but I can't think of a concise way to say that clearly and I'm not entirely sure it's notable, so I'll just leave it here on the talk page for now. Wait on Secondary Typing?

Should we wait until it has been confirmed (or not) to give Azumarill the dual type of WaterFairy? (What will be more interesting is whether they give Azurill a secondary type or just re-type it from Normal to just Fairy.) Indigorange (talk) 17:51, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Gloom loses its Poison type when it evolves into a Bellossom. And yes, we will wait. --Den Zen 18:04, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Edit Request, Korean name

The one on the page is for Marill, nor Azumarill. Azumarill's Korean name is 마릴리. -- Nick15 (talk) 19:53, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

Origin

Is it possible that Azumarill is supposed to literally be a sea hare? It seemed odd to not have in the design basis. Poisson14 (talk) 04:06, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Azumarill is more likely based on the swamp rabbits than sea hares. Special Stage Route (pit stop) 02:29, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Edit request

Can a staff member change the image link of Madam Azumarill to the png counterpart? PattyMan 04:35, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
