The Steel Memory (Japanese: スチールメモリ Steel Memory) is a type of held item introduced in Generation VII. It is one of the memories that are associated with Silvally. It corresponds to the Steel type.

In battle

If the holder uses Multi-Attack, it becomes a Steel-type move.

RKS System changes a Silvally holding this item to its Steel-type form. Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Silvally a memory or remove a memory from Silvally.

In 10,000,000 Reasons to Fight!, Gladion used a Steel Memory on his Silvally to make it a Steel type, allowing it cross the pool of poison a Nihilego had created to keep it and Lusamine away from their pursuers.
