Currently, this template (I'll call it the "current template") has a very similar name to a newer template called [[Template:TypeEffectiveness]]. The primary difference between these two is that the current template does not support the changes introduced in gen VI: the addition of Fairy and Steel no longer resisting Ghost and Dark; meanwhile the new one does support those changes. I think the current template should be renamed, as to avoid confusion about what it's for and when to use it. | |||
Looking in the "Type-related templates" category, it seems there is an earlier chart for gen I called [[Template:RBY type effectiveness]]. So for the current template, perhaps something like "Gen II-V type effectiveness"? "GSC type effectiveness" or "BW type effectiveness" might not fully communicate the scope of it. | |||
Regarding the task of relinking everything, the current template is used on only 42 pages according to "what links here", and most of those pages seem to be userspace instead of mainspace.
