Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and an illustration rare card in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Triplet Beat subset. The Regular print features artwork by sui, while the illustration rare print features artwork by Souichirou Gunjima.
In Mainland China, a full art version featuring the Pokémon Horizons logo, Dot (dressed as her alter ego, Nidothing), and her Quaxly was released in the Gem Pack Vol. 1 on January 17, 2025.

Trivia
The illustration rare print is one of numerous cards to feature an illustration that is part of a narrative. In this illustration, a Quaxly is seen looking at itself in front of a mirror. A soap dispenser designed after Poliwag can be seen. The scene continues on the Quaxwell card.
Origin
This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet. The Gem Pack Vol. 1 print features Dot (as her alter ego, Nidothing), one of the main characters of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, whose first partner Pokémon is Quaxly.
