Major events
- Xerosic discovers that the stones on Route 10 are primitive Absorbers, which will allow the ultimate weapon to be powered again.
- Xerosic reveals he is aware of Zygarde's existence, having been told that Team Flare was under its surveillance after AZ escaped from being captured.
- Xerosic checks on Essentia's vitals, only to find that she is in battle in Anistar City.
- X and Y battle against Essentia, who struggles to fully control Xerxer due to its Legendary status.
- The battle is interrupted by the arrival of Zygarde, forcing Essentia to attempt to capture it.
- Blue and Diantha arrive, but are too late to stop Essentia from taking Zygarde and escaping.
- The damage done to Essentia's suit prevents Xerosic from communicating with or controlling her anymore.
- Professor Sycamore receives a call from Sina and Dexio, who inform him that Team Flare has gone into hiding at Pokémon Village.
