Besting Buizel II (Japanese: VS ブイゼルII VS Buizel II), titled VS Buizel II in the Chuang Yi translation, is the 402nd chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, and the 65th chapter of the Diamond & Pearl arc.
It is subtitled Cyrus and the Perfect World (Japanese: アカギと完全な世界 Akagi and Perfect World) in the VIZ Media translation and Cyrus and a Perfect World in the Chuang Yi translation.
Plot
As Crasher Wake's Pokémon summon rain over Lake Valor and Route 213, Pearl continues trying to catch a Buizel. Under Wake's guidance, Pearl finally manages to capture one in a Poké Ball. He is reminded of Uji, who also had a Buizel, and realizes that having the same Pokémon as Platinum's former bodyguards may lead him to become as strong as them. Pearl chooses "Zeller" as a nickname for his new Buizel.
Zeller's Poké Ball suddenly springs out of Pearl's hands and rolls away from him. Crasher Wake picks it up, noting that Pearl needs to train Zeller in order for it to listen to him. Pearl is ready to start training, but Wake explains that having four Pokémon may not be enough to face Team Galactic. He tells Pearl that he will need to catch two more Pokémon before the end of the night. Already exhausted, Pearl is nervous, but Wake laughs it off and steers him to Route 212.
Meanwhile, at Veilstone City, the three airships—each carrying one of the lake guardians—arrive at the Team Galactic HQ. Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter meet with Cyrus, who commends them for their work. After ordering them to gather every Team Galactic Grunt in the room, he begins to deliver a speech. To the members of Team Galactic, Cyrus declares that the world is imperfect, and that they will be the ones to change it with the power of the lake guardians.
As the sun begins to rise over Route 212, Pearl finally catches two other Pokémon for his team. He thanks Crasher Wake and Rad Rickshaw as he prepares to leave. Before he goes, Wake offers to get Pearl a present for when he succeeds in stopping Team Galactic. Pearl asks for a theme song, just like Wake's. As Wake begins to laugh, Pearl spots a Rapidash-drawn carriage approaching them. Johanna, Sebastian, Roseanne, and Fantina's Drifblim depart the carriage and head toward Pearl. Drifblim gives him Tru and Kit's Poké Balls, and Pearl becomes scared that something has happened to Diamond. Johanna reveals that Diamond is inside of a Team Galactic airship, shocking Pearl.
