Querulous Qwilfish (Japanese: VS ハリーセン VS Harysen), titled VS Qwilfish in the Chuang Yi translation, is the 122nd chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, and the 32nd chapter of the Gold, Silver & Crystal arc.
Plot
Crystal is walking towards Olivine City, with the news broadcast about the events of the Burned Tower playing. Once she enters Olivine City, she sees the construction site of the Battle Tower. When she gets to the construction site, she talks to one of the workers about when it will be finished. Suddenly, a waste collection pipe starts to break under pressure, and the tower itself starts to collapse. Crystal manages to save some of the workers, but the waste flows into the sea, enraging some nearby Qwilfish.
The Qwilfish take in a bunch of water and start attacking with Pin Missile. Crystal thinks about cleaning up the mess to calm the Pokémon down, but decides to capture them instead. She then sends out all her Pokémon, who fight the Qwilfish, and Crystal kicks Poké Balls to capture them once they are defeated. The workers say that they will clean up the mess soon. However, Natee spots a baby Qwilfish in the water. Crystal has Natee rescue the Qwilfish from the water and notices that it has a weak pulse.
As Crystal is about to take the baby Qwilfish to a Pokémon Center, Suicune suddenly appears in front of her and cures the baby Qwilfish, cleaning the sea in the process. Soon, Crystal gets a call from Professor Oak, telling her that he's counting on her to get some data on the three Legendary beasts. Crystal tells him what she just saw and then starts hunting down Suicune.
