Deck Save Machine link
- Main article: Deck Save Machine
This is identical to the Deck Save Machine found at the Mason Laboratory, allowing the player to save and retrieve customized decks.
See mailbox
The mailbox (Japanese: メエルボックス) contains mail received from various people, as opposed to the first game where only Dr. Mason sent mail to the player. Like in the first game, booster packs often arrive by mail. The mailbox is only accessible from the Minicom, not from the PC. Unlike the first game, it is possible to delete mail, even before reading it or getting any attached booster packs. The mail and booster packs cannot be recovered if deleted. The mailbox is able to hold 8 pieces of mail. If the mailbox is full, the player is required to delete older mail in order to receive new mail.
When there's new mail, the ※ symbol appears next to the "Minicom" option in the menu to draw the attention of the player, and a shaking envelope appears at the top of the Minicom screen. They disappear when the player accesses the mailbox, even if the player didn't read the mail. Whenever the player accesses the mailbox, an image of a mailbox appears, which either has an envelope if there's new mail, or is empty if there's no new mail. A confirmation sound also rings if there's new mail. Either of these messages appear at this point:
- あたらしいメールが とどいています! ("New mail arrived!")
- あたらしいメールが とどいていません! ("No new mail arrived!")
The mailbox screen displays a list of mail titles and senders. Each piece of unread mail has a circle next to it. The available options for each piece of mail are listed below.
- よむ ("Read")
- けす ("Delete")
- やめる ("Cancel")
View card catalogue
The card catalogue is identical to the "Card" option found in the menu of the previous game, except more cards are available in this game. This catalogue contains a list of all the cards owned by the player, regardless of whether they are in a deck or not. There are nine pages: one for each of the seven Pokémon types, another for Trainer cards, and the last one for Energy cards.
The player is able to check each card and read their text. The number of repeated cards is shown with each card. The total number of available cards is shown at the top, counting repeated cards. If the player does not have a certain card, it does not appear in the list at all.

Trivia
- In Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR!, there is no command found simultaneously in both the PC and the Minicom (aside from exiting via the "Shut down" option). However, in the previous game, which lacked the Minicom, the mail was read on the PC.
