Kyle Sucevich
Kyle Sucevich (born February 4, 1989), known affectionately as Pooka, is one of the most accomplished Pokémon Trading Card Game players of all-time, retiring from competitive play in 2015 to work for The Pokémon Company International, where he has contributed to game development, theme deck development, and rulebook writing for the TCG.[1] Sucevich boasts a long list of accomplishments, including what is widely regarded as the best U.S. National Championships résumé.

Sucevich was one of the founding members of The Top Cut, a competitive Pokémon TCG fansite that was often considered by players and fans alike as the catalyst for official streaming coverage of premier Pokémon events. Sucevich is well known for "Bad Deck Monday," his trademark gimmick on The Top Cut, where fans would watch him battle his rogue deck ideas against opponents in Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

Personal
Sucevich graduated with a degree in computer science at Marquette University in Wisconsin, and now works for The Pokémon Company International as a Research & Development Associate. Sucevich has an analytical gameplay demeanor, and many have characterized him as quiet but extremely personable and friendly.
Trivia
- While he has had a remarkable showing at the United States National Championships, Sucevich has had largely lackluster performances in the World Championships he has attended. Interestingly, this is a similar situation as that of three-time World Champion Jason Klaczynski, who rarely performs well at Nationals.
- His favorite Pokémon is Meganium.
- He is known for being able to recall obscure and rarely played Pokémon TCG cards.
