This card was included in the Sun & Moon expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection Moon. It was also printed in the Japanese Sun & Moon Starter Set released on the same day, December 9, 2016. It was later reprinted in the Lycanroc Half Deck of the Sun & Moon Trainer Kit: Lycanroc & Alolan Raichu, released April 21, 2017. A SM-P Promotional print was 1 of 9 possible cards included in special packs sent to Japanese Event Organizers in August 2017 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. A version of the Sun & Moon print with a 27 in a gray circle at the bottom right of the card was included in the Sun & Moon Trainer Kit: Alolan Sandslash & Alolan Ninetales. The number was used to order the deck for a practice duel.
