Amazing Pokémon (TCG)

Amazing Pokémon (Japanese アメイジングレア Amazing Rare) are a group of Pokémon in the Pokémon Trading Card Game introduced in the Vivid Voltage expansion. Amazing Pokémon cards are identified by the Amazing Rare card rarity and an illustration with a multi-colored background that goes beyond the frame. They feature Legendary or Mythical Pokémon. Each one has an attack with "Amazing" in its name, and this attack has an Energy cost that includes two or three different types of Energy. These Energy costs include one or two types that do not match the Pokémon's types from the core series. Amazing Pokémon have the same name that a normal rendition of that species of Pokémon would have. (For example, an Amazing Pokémon card featuring Celebi would have the name "Celebi", just as a regular Pokémon card featuring Celebi would be named "Celebi".) Amazing Pokémon have no additional rules compared to regular Pokémon.
