:It's the latter. I have an old walkthrough on GameFaqs and a few other places, but I'm currently revamping it. I also have a website with a ton of old-school card scans, which I'd like to "donate" to the wiki here... but I'd rather rescan a few of those and do some other quality checking first. --Alamedyang 3:02, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

::Yep, I can take screenshots. And I was wondering about the file format because Wikipedia's policy is to prefer PNGs, and thought it was possible this wiki was the same. Anyway, I'm afraid I'm only halfway through processing all my scans (there was a TON... 0_0), but I'll keep at it. Some completed sets should be up on my website and available for uploading soon. --Alamedyang 3:33, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

:::Okay. If you would look at the bottom of the page here: List, you will see an array of cards that have only been "released" through the Pokémon Card GB games. If you could take and upload cropped screenshots similar to the one seen here: Moltres (GB 1), that would be fantastic. I was also wondering if those cards have Pokédex entries in-game. We need some of those too. A full amount of the GB cards can be seen here. :Category:Pokémon Card GB cards. I hope you don't mind doing this.

:Heh, that was fast! I don't play competitively now for financial reasons (plus I live in nowheresville, where the only regularly scheduled tourny is far away) but I keep an eye out on stuff that still happens -- for instance, I know what a Pokémon Lv.X is. ^_^ The only DP cards I actually have, though, are from other people's collections that I've bought out, since my purchases tend to focus on the older cards.

:Anyway, after I finish revamping my TCG GB2 walkthrough, I can probably help do random stuff. Mostly I've been contributing through User:Maverick Nate, who's been uploading the scans from my own website (with my permission, of course), which I was too busy to do. Of scans, there's like another hundred or so that I just need to process. I'd probably wouldn't be much help for Project Decks, though, since most of my personal knowledge was acquired from pojo.com in 1999 and 2000. ^_^; --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 00:57, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Small thing
I love that you are adding translations and kanji, but I like to make sure everything is translated the same on here. For instance, we have Tackle translated as Body Blow, and I like everything being the same. If you could do that, it would be helpful. :For things that aren't already attack names for the RPG games, I've been checking on other cards' translations first. Tackle to Body Blow is nice to know, though -- I'll check out all of the attacks now, too. --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 03:00, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

::::Hmmm. The thing is, the English translates so many things differently from the games... I don't know. But, another thing. I need to know when certain games moves appear in the tcg and are mistranslated as their game counterpart. There is a way we have to put that information on, and I need to know if you encountered any like that? These two characters have popped up in a few attack names: だま. It is very similar to the pronounciation for "ball", but I keep getting stupid or no results. What do you think? <span style="color:#0066FF">~~</span><span style="color:#00CCFF">nuva</span><span style="color:#0066FF">-</span><span style="color:#0099FF">kal</span> 20:25, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
:Ball, sphere, or coin are normal translations for だま, and I can't think of any other instances where it be different, but context can change things weirdly. Going through your user history, I'm guessing the problem lies with the Delcattys? In Japanese folklore (or whatever), cats are thought of as hoarders of round objects, particularly coins, but for the Delcattys something plain like "(Double) Energy Ball MAX" is probably the best translation. Were there any other instances? --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 05:04, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
::The only other instance I came across was with Raikou from Skyridge, I think. I had a feeling it would be the same, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks! <span style="color:#0066FF">~~</span><span style="color:#00CCFF">nuva</span><span style="color:#0066FF">-</span><span style="color:#0099FF">kal</span> 10:56, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
There's also this too ピッカリ. I assume it is onomatopoeia for something electrical. <span style="color:#0066FF">~~</span><span style="color:#00CCFF">nuva</span><span style="color:#0066FF">-</span><span style="color:#0099FF">kal</span> 16:37, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
:I think that's a combination of ビックリ (surprise/astonishment) and the usual ピカピカ (glitter/sparkle). Since it's a conglomeration of the two words, I'm not sure how that would translate, but some variation of "shocking" might work. --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 03:07, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Mark artwork
Where did you get that awesome HQ artwork? Do you have more TCG GB artworks? --Maxim 11:06, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
:I scanned it from the TCG for GB2 Official Guidebook, and erased the background manually (although it was on a white background, so I made it easy for myself by juggling channels in PhotoShop.) There are many more images I want to do this to, both from that book and a CoroCoro Strategy Guide for the first TCG for GB game, but many of them are not on a white background, have other images or text overlapping them, or have other problems that will take a long while to clean up. I'm currently working on an image of 2, and it should be up whenever I can find time to finish. Anything specific you want me to go for? --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 03:47, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
::OMG! It's awesome! Does that guide have GR Island Trainers artworks too? I've been DYING to see them. And I'm looking forward seeing them. Anyway, please answer to MY talkpage, as I'm usually forgetful about who did I message. --Maxim 15:00, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Need a rescan
Hello again. I was searching your site and came across an awesome pic of the legendary dogs from the Neo Premium file #3. Would it be possible to rescan this without the button in the picture? It would be a fantastic addition to the article. :Unfortunately, it's completely attached to the folder, so I can't do a scan without it, but I'll Photoshop it out later when I have more time. Think you could use it on Bulbapedia? --Alamedyang <small>(talk)</small> 04:06, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
::We want to use it here. We are just looking for cool artwork of each of the trios. Currently, we found a bird trio banner illustrated by Toshinao Aoki, and we were looking for other TCG illustrations that fit together. That one just happened to be the one we want for the Beasts. Also, there are three cards that fit together for the golem trio. They are this, this and this. Could you possibly find the full image? We were able to fit them together and get part of the image, but we were hoping you would be able to get the entire image from somewhere. :::I'll look around for the Regis, but since you're looking for TCG pics that fit together, here are tiny scans (not by me) of the postcards included with Trainers Vol. 11

:::The magazine has the legendary gerbils as a postcard as well, but the image I scanned from the Neo 3 Premium File binder is bigger than the one I downloaded with the others. If you could look at the remaining cards that still need Japanese names or translations, it would really help us out.
