In The Anime

Should we add an in the anime section because of the baby-like terapagos in Pokemon Horizons? JackJackAttackG (talk) 18:26, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

It's implied to be a different Pokémon so we're waiting for its name to be revealed. Landfish7 18:28, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

Galápagos a is Spanish for Turtle???

As a new user of course I can't edit the page but I highly suggest checking your Spanish classes or translator to see that Turtle is Spanish is Tortuga, but the etymology for Galápagos comes from preroman Spain-Spanish if you are trying to refer to the tortoise as in RAE said ". m. Reptil del orden de los quelonios, parecido a la tortuga, con membranas interdigitales." And Galápagos aren't a Península, they are completely Islands that are not connected to the mainland of Ecuador. Hooshico (talk) 15:20, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Name origins aren't something I specialize in but a look does confirm that you are right, checking with my fellow admin to see about changing it.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 15:41, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
The translation of "Galápago" according to Spanish Wiktionary (quote): Cualquiera de varias especies de tortugas acuáticas. "Galápagos" is plural, hence "turtles". also, no one is saying the Galápagos Islands are a peninsula in the article. thank you. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 15:42, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

I am quoting and official Spanish language entity, as RAE, Real Academia Española. Hooshico (talk) 15:47, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Should this article be categorized under Category:Pokémon that appeared in the anime before their game debut?

I wanted to take this to a discussion before I took action, but given that the Indigo Disk is still months away, should the category be applied? Drmanny (talk) 15:28, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

Sure, i think it counts. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 02:00, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

Old page history

A parallel version history of a page name "Unnamed Pokémon" is preserved at:

Talk:Terapagos (Pokémon)/Unnamed Pokémon

That article's content has since been merged into this article, after it came to light that that unnamed Pokémon was in fact Terapagos. (That article had no accompanying talk page to be preserved.) Nescientist (talk) 14:59, 12 August 2023 (UTC)

Small grammar edit

"Each feet has three toes" should either be "Each foot has three toes," or "Each of the feet has three toes."

Fixed, thank you! Nescientist (talk) 11:17, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
Also, it should be "long sought", not "long seeked".Dr. Victor Vasconcelos (talk) 18:03, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

It's not "implied" that Terapagos is responsible for Terstalization

Briar's copy of the Scarlet/Violet book flat out says that Heath "tentatively named this creature (responsible for Terastal) Terapagos." Thwackeyrabootdrizzile (talk) 22:01, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

Quote from the book: "I have tentatively named this creature Terapagos. I suspect that its very body is made up of the key material that causes Pokémon to shine brightly and crystallize." So Heath only "suspects" it to be the case. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk page) 13:37, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

Stats

Either the Base forms Stats or BST is wrong. HenryWong122 (talk) 14:04, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Stellar Form Terapagos is not actually Stellar-type

Just pointing this out for any page that lists Stellar Form Terapagos. Stellar Form Terapagos is still considered Normal-type. Just look in the in-game Pokedex in SV or either version of HOME. All of them list the Stellar Form as Normal-type. In addition, you can check the Battle Status menu in the middle of a battle after Terastallizing Terapagos or any Stellar Pokemon; you can see that, unlike traditional Terrastallization, the Pokemon still retains their base typing even after Terastallizing. --Mr. Bonding (talk) 23:27, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Possible EVs?

Am I misunderstanding, or is it not possible to get EVs from Normal-form Terapagos, due to it automatically becoming its Terastal form? Jdrawer (talk) 03:02, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
