Various Pokémon merchandise has been released in connection with different series of Pokémon manga. Due to the comparatively higher popularity of the games, anime and TCG, there is significantly less manga tie-in merchandise than there is compared to other Pokémon media. Regardless, several items have been released for retail sale and as promotional items.

Magical Pokémon Journey

A deck of playing cards featuring characters from Magical Pokémon Journey was released as a promotional item with Ciao magazine. Each suit in the set features a different character from the series - spades is Pikachu, hearts is Jigglypuff, clubs is Squirtle and diamonds is Clefairy. The majority of the artwork on the cards was created exclusively for this set. All of the Queens in the set feature Hazel alongside the suit's Pokémon, and all the Jacks likewise feature Almond. The Jokers in the set feature Grandpa. There is also a card included with the set which has no function in regular play but features all four Pokémon.

Pokémon Adventures

In commemoration of VIZ Media's 25th anniversary, a swag bag was distributed at San Diego Comic Con in 2011. The bag and its contents featured several of VIZ Media's licenses, including Pokémon. The bag itself featured an image of Pika from Pokémon Adventures, and included was a manga sampler featuring multiple story arcs from the Adventures series.

Pokémon Pocket Monsters

A paper fan featuring characters from the Pokémon Pocket Monsters manga was given away as a promotional item at the Shogakukan Comic Fair in 1997. The fan features Red, Red's Clefairy, Red's Pikachu and several other Pokémon which debuted in Generation I. Artwork appears on one side of the fan in full colour and on the opposite side alternate artwork appears printed in red.
