Major events

X continues his battle against the Team Flare Grunt.
Trevor helps X battle the Grunt.
Clemont tells Y more about her mother's kidnapping.
Cassius arrives and defeats the Grunt's Espurr.
Clemont is sent flying by Psychic energy after he opens the Grunt's Espurr's ears to see the organs under them.
At the cost of its flower, Trevor's Flabébé retrieves Li'l Kanga and Élec's Mega Stones and gives them back.
X Mega Evolves Élec into Mega Manectric, allowing it to defeat the Grunt.
The Grunt escapes, but drops a document containing a list of various Pokémon and the Mega Stones required to Mega Evolve them.
X and Trevor return to their friends, only to find Y depressed from the news about her mother.
Cassius introduces himself and his friends to X's group.
Cassius introduces Emma, who has adopted one of the Grunt's Espurr.
