Chloe went out to investigate to find Yamper was helping to hide an {{p|Eevee}} from two people. Thinking they were bad people, Chloe helped protect it, only to encounter {{TRT}} who had captured the Pokémon belonging to her classmates. Chloe commanded Yamper to attack and with help from Eevee was able to defeat {{p|Pelipper}}. Later, Chloe learnt the people after Eevee were lab assistants at a Research Center regarding Eevee and its evolutions. They were taking Eevee back with them when Eevee indicated it wanted to stay with Chloe. Goh gave Chloe one of his Poké Balls which she used to catch Eevee. Later, her dad gave her a pink [[Rotom Phone]].

Chloe and Eevee ended up feeling the presence of a [[Galarian]] {{p|Rapidash}} and a {{p|Ponyta}}. This ended up taking them to [[Glimwood Tangle]], where was separated from Goh and Ash, but found the Ponyta that she had felt the presence, together with the Rapidash, which is injuried. Entering the forest, Chloe, Eevee, and Ponyta found a group of {{p|Impidimp}} that steal her things. When she discovered the real intentions of the Wily Pokémon, Chloe managed to befriend them and thus get the medicine Rapidash needed to heal. Gratefully, Rapidash and Ponyta gave Chloe a ride to [[Ballonlea]] to meet Ash and Goh.

Later, they were seen playing on the beach and a more relaxed Chloe decided to join the fun.

 Chloe is overly cautious and takes a realistic approach to life. She finds [[Goh]]'s confidence and big ideas to be irritating, and often reminds her friend to mind his manners. She appears distant and indifferent to others, as seen when she tends to ignore Ash, although she would gradually open up and become more friendly towards him. Although reserved and aloof, Chloe is very protective of her friends. When two girls made fun of Jinny, she became so angry that she wanted to fight them in person.
